About Department
The Department of Sanskrit, established in 2021, is devoted to the promotion and preservation of India’s ancient language and cultural heritage. The department aims to provide students with a deep understanding of Sanskrit literature, grammar, and philosophy. It focuses on developing linguistic skills and fostering an appreciation for India’s classical knowledge tradition. Regular classes, recitations, and discussions are organized to enhance pronunciation, comprehension, and interpretation skills. The department also emphasizes moral values, cultural awareness, and the relevance of Sanskrit in contemporary society.
